The Brand with a Rock soul
I'm Leonardo Longo, owner and founder of Hemmet®, and to tell you about the Brand, I'll tell you my story.
Hemmet® was born out of a need and a promise.
But let's take a step back.
Since I was a child, music was my greatest passion and my only goal was to be able to become a professional musician. After years of self-taught, when I turned 15 I had the opportunity to start a professional study path, thanks to my grandparents who helped to bear the costs to make my passion come true.
When you think about following your dreams, you always risk thinking that the effort and difficulties are only related to the initial sacrifices or the constancy to maintain.
I was ready to do it, however, while forming my knowledge, while trying to give shape and structure to my musical universe, I found myself with very different problems.
At some point in my life, my grandparents, who had always believed in me and in my dream, passed away.
In one of the darkest moments of my life, I made them a promise, which still remains firm today: to create something great, which could sustain and motivate me every day.
A project that would make music the center of my life.
The other half of HEMMET
But I couldn't do it alone. As with everything, I had to find a balance, the other half of the circle, a partner and a friend.
The choice could only fall on Gianpiero: the only person I knew would support me in this endeavor, who would share my ideals, my passions.
That he would believe in my dream.
At just 20 we embarked on this journey: we changed homes, countries and lives to be able to start building what would become Hemmet® without external influences.

Dream comes true
Precisely in this period, the study of some historical models of the Brand began: seeing that our dream was finally taking shape led us to return to Italy and materialize our business idea, renting a small office, the headquarters of our business nascent.
In June 2016 we founded our brand: Hemmet®.
Dealing with being an entrepreneur is still the biggest difficulty today: finding a way to combine my passion for music, the desire to create something that can be useful to me and, most importantly, give value to people who have always been ready to support me.
From Brand to Community
A mirror of our passion, which joins the business, is definitely our headquarters. What is now our office is the recording studio where I used to compose and play.
Our brand came to life, and its soul could only be Rock.
A spark shone inside every person who came into contact with Hemmet®: we were all connected, in a constant search for expression and uniqueness. Each of us was looking for something to identify with, a symbol, an idea that we could live and touch. Music has given us the strength to never give up, to evolve, taking advantage of difficulties to learn and improve.


From Brand to Community

Over the course of a few years, our supporters increased, scattered all over the world, to the point of creating a real community which today has more than 50,000 people united by a single desire, the same ideal: Rock. Which in this case doesn't pass through earphones, but dresses your gaze.
Hemmet® is a Brand that promotes the values of rock and recalls its style in the design of iconic eyewear, watches, jewels, clothing and accessories.
Our products are the meeting point between uniqueness and style, to enhance the personality of the wearer.
